David’s parents were both involved with music, arts and entertainment. His mother Anne Bryant was a songwriter and his father Ardie Bryant was an entertainer and educator known worldwide as one of the “Innovators of Modern Jazz Tap” and the “Ambassador of Tap!” David’s parents met in the 1950’s when his father was performing with legendary music artists such as Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Sarah Vaughn, Charlie Parker, Dizzie Gillespie, Louis Armstrong and Quincy Jones. David’s Godfather was the great jazz pianist Erroll Garner. David has also made a name for himself online and in social media circles with his coaching, mentoring and personal development brand “Mr. Support Friend!” He is the author of “My Support Guide” a 94 page support and empowerment guide of personal development tools, resources and support systems he created and designed to support and empower youth, adults and seniors in important key areas such as values, success habits, wellness, finances, overcoming obstacles, communicating, and attracting quality friendships and relationships that can assist people, professionals and business owners in achieving dreams and goals. David is also excited to be working with his long-time friend Lorelei McBroom, who sang vocals with Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart, on a web/tv series and multi-media project called “Who Influenced You? that explores the topic of “Influences” with celebrities, notables and influential people, connecting past, present and future generations through a series of conversations and stories, creating an ongoing never ending historical perspective on the importance of influence on culture and humanity. David helped Lorelei to create the brand name and is involved with the creative and business development team for the project. The major influences in David’s life have been his parents, legendary basketball and life coach John Wooden, Stevie Wonder, Magic Johnson and Grammy Award Winning Producer Arif Mardin. David is single, lives in Charlotte, NC, advocates healthy living and enjoys making a difference.
